005 Sorry, Mr. Moo!
BRAVE: Ho-hum----. It's so nice and warm that I can't sleep enough however long I sleep. Recently it's hard for me to wake up in the morning, particularly.
POPPY: True enough. Anyone tends to sleep late in spring. "This morn of spring in bed I'm lying, Not be awake till birds are crying."says Moo-Koonen or Meng Haoran of China.
BRAVE: Moo-----? What's that? Is he a bull bred in China?
POPPY: I guess so.
BRAVE: Boy! The bull put it very well. But I like chicken much better! Chicken is so tasty!!
POPPY: I love beef best! Sorry, Mr. Moo!!
BRAVE: Listen, Poppy! Momma's calling us for lunch. Mommmaa, gimme luunchh!----------Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!!!
POPPY: Oh, no! Bure, wait!! Moommm, gimme luunchh, too!!!-----------Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!!!

006 someone like you
POPPY: Bure, uncle Kitchan praised me today, too, "Poppy, you're so pretty! Look like Hitomi Kuroki." He says Hitomi Kuroki is a Japanese stunning actress.
BRAVE: Hmm... Sometimes I can't understand what he says. How come you as cat resemble a woman actress? Speaking of him, the other day he said I was like "Norio Nishikawa." Poppy, you know "Norio Nishiwaka"?
POPPY: (Thump-thump! Seems to have misunderstood.) Huh? Don't know well, but maybe a comedian or something.....
BRAVE: Comedian? But he must be handsome just because he looks like me. Is there such a good-looking guy in comedians? You know, Poppy? Ha-ha-ha!
POPPY: (Not the features in the face. Either has a big face. But I can never tell him that!)---------Eh...?
BRAVE: All right! Will check him on TV one of these days!!
POPPY: --------------------

007 paragon of cat?
BRAVE: Poppy, can cats predict natural phenomena like earthquakes or volcanic eruptions?
POPPY: Not likely...I heard that when the great earthquake happened in Kobe, sister lived with her cat, Sally in Osaka. The both were sound asleep and didn't realize it at all until books on the shelf slided down to the floor.
BRAVE: What a numbskull!
POPPY: Sally protected herself under the table while the quake was strong. The moment it changed into a slight tremor, she scurried away somewhere by herself, leaving sister alone. Then, after the tremor completely stopped, she came home without any sign of compunction.
BRAVE: Oh! She's a paragon of cat!! We'd better follow her example.
POPPY: I'll say.

008 incorrigible
POPPY: Hah....Cherry blossoms are past at their best. Well, Brave, only a few days ago you fell downstairs from the handrail without stopping. How did you feel? Very frightened?
BRAVE: Oh, about that? Say, just as I jumped to the handrail as usual, my hands slipped and I fell the downstairs. Got a kick! Only those having tried bungy jump can appreciate the same feeling.
POPPY: H'm. But don't run on the handrail any more. So dangerous! This time luckily you were saved unhurt, but next you may become paralyzed on one side or be killed at worst.
BRAVE: Don't worry! I'm quick in the movements. So I wasn't wounded at all.
POPPY: You idiot! If you had had quick reflexes, you wouldn't have fallen from the upstairs!

009 awol
BRAVE: Poppy, don't you think we're overprotected? Everyone got all upset just over our taking a walk. That made me beat.
POPPY: In your case, it's because you went out without notice. Granny nearly died worrying about you too much. Should have said a word to someone before leaving.
BRAVE: So, you said something and then went out?
POPPY: Me? I surely said to mom, "Will be back soon." But she's taking a nap with an open mouth and didn't listen to me. By the way, granny insisted that you went out by unlocking a sash glass door. Is it true?
BRAVE: Well, I'll leave it to your imagination.
